FORGE ACADEMY / RT READY

Know where to start.
Build your clinical judgment.

Start with your assigned work. Learn the reasoning, practice with the patient and tools, then check what you can do independently.

Start here · your first visit

A short orientation to the controls. This tour does not start a lesson or count toward an assignment.

  1. Find your work

My assignments contains work from your instructor. If you have no assignment, confirm which lesson to begin. Use Browse lessons to explore topics.

  2. Follow one lesson at a time

Choose Open lesson. Read the teaching, follow the guided decisions, then complete independent transfer. Optional activities provide extra practice; they do not complete the lesson.

  3. Return with confidence

Use My Progress for saved browser work and results. Assigned work returns through My assignments. Simulators & Lung Model open separately; keep your lesson tab open. Ask FORGE can help locate a control.

How a lesson works

  1. Learn the problem. Read the patient story and inspect the evidence.
  2. Practice the decision. Use the lesson’s activities and relevant tools, then return to the patient.
  3. Try a new situation. Complete independent transfer, review your result and choose the next step.
The FORGE way: Build → Commit → Predict → Observe → Revise → Verify

Build a plan from the evidence. Commit to a decision. Predict its effect. Observe the response. Revise when new evidence changes the picture. Verify that the intended result occurred.

Guided learning, independent decisions and simulator exploration keep separate results. My assignments contains your assigned work; My Progress shows this browser’s saved learning records.

CHOOSE THE TOOL FOR YOUR QUESTION

Simulators & Lung Model

Each tool opens in a new tab. Keep Academy open and return here to continue your lesson. Tool exploration does not complete an assignment.

RT Ready ECG · three interactive lessons

Acquire a reliable signal, mark QRS complexes on a fixed waveform, measure rate and spacing, and correlate the result with the patient. These supplemental lessons provide focused ECG acquisition and measurement practice. Independent clinical review is pending; learner access requires a faculty assignment.

ECG-01 / ACQUISITION

Acquire a reliable ECG

Identity, electrode contact, motion and placement checks.

ECG-02 / MEASUREMENT

Measure before accepting the rate

Mark QRS positions, calculate a six-second estimate and compare R–R spacing.

Open ECG-02 →
ECG-03 / CLINICAL CORRELATION

Connect the ECG to the patient

Current symptoms, perfusion, pulse findings and timely qualified review.
